Lead actors and film crew always work closely with each other while shooting. Therefore, it is possible to notice a strong bond between them. Some of these relationships are continued even after the movie is completed. Right now, Rani Mukerji has been busy shooting her upcoming called Mardaani 2. Crew is in Rajasthan at the moment. As the shooting schedule is nearing towards the end, art director of Mardaani 2 named Babu Saini has wished to gift Rani a beautiful painting. In the past, both of them have worked together in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai also.
On the last day of shoot, Babu has given the painting to Rani which has been drawn by him. Babu is a popular painter in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Through the painting, you may able to see Rani as a brave cop who is all out to fight with bad guys and punish them severely similar to her character in Mardaani.
According to our close informant, “When Saini presented her this portrait, Rani was very touched. He actually painted her in her Mardaani 2 look, a film that she is very proud of. She was overwhelmed and informed him that she will put this up in her house. It also shows the kind of affection and appreciation and respect that technicians and crew members have for Rani as a person and her body of work.” While receiving the painting from Babu, Rani has been really emotional and happy. It is believed that Rani wants to keep it in her private collection.
Most part of shooting for Mardaani 2 is completed already. Final schedule of the movie will be shot in Yash Raj Studios. We expect Rani to deliver a power packed performance once again as Shivani Shivaji Roy. Director of the movie is debutant Gopi Puthran. Release of Mardaani 2 may happen by the end of year.
