Ranveer Singh is certainly one of the most talented actors in Bollywood at the moment. From the time of his debut in Band Baaja Baarat, Ranveer has never looked back. Right now, Ranveer is gearing up for his upcoming movie ’83 by Kabir Khan which is expected to be a biopic of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. Next, he is going to start YRF’s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ also. During an interview recently, Ranveer has talked about his experience on Lootera. On the occasion, Ranveer has confessed that he has stapled himself in order to prep for the movie. Simmba actor has said that he has been trying to realize the feeling of pain and how to portray it on the celluloid.
Ranveer has said “I didn’t know at that time when I was making that choice for Lootera. You operate from a place where you are not comfortable with your craft, a place of insecurity and nervousness and you tend to do a lot more to achieve a certain effect… sometimes to the degree of harming yourself. I wouldn’t do it now as I know that there is more efficient way of doing it. Back then, I am thinking to myself: ‘I have never been shot, now I am going to get shot. So how am I going to depict a real sort of pain on screen?”
Apart from ’83 and Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer Singh has also signed a movie which is Karan Johar’s Takht. It is a multi-starrer where Ranveer will be seen with Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor.
