Pankaj Tripathi is a talented actor who has been praised for delivering good performances onscreen. Now, Newton actor is expected to team up with Sajid Nadiadwala on his production venture Bachchan Pandey. Previously, both of them have collaborated on the movies like Super 30 and ’83.
In this movie, Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi have been working together for the first time. According to the source close to the development, it has been said “While Kriti & Pankaj have worked earlier in Lukka Chuppi. Pankaj & Akshay will be teaming up for the first time. Both are known for their comic timing and unusual choices and one cannot wait to see the creativity that both these actors create on-screen. Pankaj will be joining Akshay, Kriti, Jacqueline & Arshad in Jaisalmer from January onwards.”
Further, it has been said “It was Sajid Sir & Farhad Sir’s idea to rope him for a pivotal role which will add a lot of humour to the storyline. It’s a huge ensemble cast which will be shooting together for 90 days, it’s going to be a roller coaster ride.”
Bachchan Pandey is a movie where Akshay Kumar is playing a gangster. Kriti Sanon is part of the movie also. Both the characters have been in love with the movies which is their common passion. Release of the movie is scheduled in 2021.
Previously, Arshad Warsi has confirmed that he is part of the movie Bachchan Pandey starring Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon also. During an interview, Arshad Warsi has said “I think he is feeling guilty now to work with me (laughs). It was just that, the director of the film Farhad (Farhad Samji). He is the person who has written most of the Golmaal series, so he is a writer. He really, really wanted Akshay and me in a film together. This script he just said, I have to do it, it is great fun.”
Talking about the movie further, Arshad Warsi has said “Me personally, I am not just saying it for effect, I am a big fan of Akshay. I don’t think there is any other actor who can pull off comedy as well as Akshay does. He is absolutely hilarious. I think he and me in a film together should be a treat for the audience.”
