Anushka Sharma’s upcoming film Phillauri’s trailer is out and after its release, the trailer has received so many applauds from the viewers. The trailer is showing that Anushka is playing the role of a witch in Phillauri that left her fans with much excitements and fun.
But do you know – the trailer also shows that it is not original as the trailer literally copied right from a Tim Burton movie Corpse Bride? It is true that not many people are aware of it but the plot of Corpse Bride bears tremendous similarity with Phillauri, starred by Anushka, Suraj Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh. Corpse Bride is an animated Hollywood film of 2005 starring by Johnny Depp, Helena Bohen Carter and Emily Watson.
The trailer of Phillauri starts by showing a manglik boy (Suraj Sharma) who has to marry a tree at first and then he can get married traditionally to the bride whom his parents have chosen for him. In order to lead a happy marriage, he has ended up tying the knot with a tree where a ghost lives. Here enters Anushka Sharma. After lots of confusions occurred due to the ghostly marriage, Suraj and his would-be bride try to confront Anushka if she has any unfinished project that has kept her making a ghost on this earth. Now enter Diljit Dosanjh and lots of romance between Anushka and Diljit. But what happens afterward, we don’t know until we will watch the movie.
On the other hand, Tim Burton film Corpse bride is a musical animated film that centered round the life of Johnny Depp aka Victor who was betrothed top Emily Watson aka Victoria. But just before their marriage, Victor ran away and later on, he returned with a corpse bride (Helena Bohem Carter).
Here are the links of both these films. We must say that Anushka is looking more bright and vibrant whereas Burton’s movie displays a dark twisted story following his typical style of direction. Phillauri is slated to release on March 24, 2017.
