Karan Johar is one of the most stylish directors in Bollywood. Just a few days ago, Karan Johar has inaugurated his statue in Madame Tuassads, Singapore. For the unveiling of statue, Karan has gone there with her mother Hiroo Johar. In the signature style of the My Name is Khan Director Karan Johar, the statue has been made. On the occasion, Karan has given a pose of clicking selfie. Now, Karan Johar has become the first Indian filmmaker whose statue has been given a place at the Madame Tussauds.
Expressing his joy for this achievement, Karan Johar has said to the media “I remember visiting the Madam Tussauds museum with my father when I was all of eight years old. It feels like a childhood dream has been realised. Today, my statue will be a part of this prestigious museum and I am vastly excited and honoured! Just the fact that I can bring my babies one day to this museum and they can see their father standing tall amongst so many illustrious and luminous personalities is the most emotional feeling for me. Waxing eloquent is something I have attempted to do for many years now, but being waxed is an altogether different high.”
On the work front, Karan Johar will be seen in the director’s chair soon. Next, he will be coming with a magnum opus called Takht. Huge ensemble cast can be seen in the movie with Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor. The movie is reportedly based upon Aurangzeb. Both Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor Khan are expected to play siblings in the movie. Shooting of the movie is expected to start from the end of 2019. Takht directed by Karan Johar will hit the screen on 2020.
