Celebrities have often taken initiative when it has come to social causes. Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged the people to avoid plastic In order to save the environment. Several celebrities like Dia Mirza, Karan Johar, Bhumi Pednekar and some others have supported the cause also.
Now, team of Coolie No. 1 along with Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan has decided to support the campaign. They have decided to go plastic free on the sets of Coolie No. 1. On the occasion, Varun has also asked other to follow the same path. Varun has tweeted “Thank u @honeybhagnani and @jackkybhagnani for making the sets of #CoolieNo1 plastic-free. I urge all my peers to do this.”
Regarding this initiative by PM Narendra Modi, Varun has also said “Being a plastic-free nation is the need of the hour and great intiative taken by our prime minister and we can all do this by making small changes. The sets of#CoolieNo1will now only use steel bottles.@PMOIndia.”

David Dhawan is directing the movie which is also remake of his 1995 movie with the same name starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani are producing the movie in collaboration with Deepshikha Deshmukh.
