Unstoppable Vicky Kaushal is coming with yet another thrilling story. He is going to touch new genre of horror with his upcoming movie which is based on real life ghost ship. In this movie, Vicky Kaushal will be sharing screen space with Bhumi Pednekar for the first time. Bhanu Pratap Singh has directed the movie.
Previously, it has been mentioned by Dhadak director Shashank Khaitan that Bhoot Part One – The Haunted Ship is based on a real incident. However, we have come to know some more gory details about the story now. By hearing the story, we are certainly scared. According to reports, the movie is about a ghost ship that has resurfaced at the shore of Mumbai.
Based on a source, we can say that “Vicky Kaushal is foraying into the horror genre for the first time. The fact that ‘Bhoot…’ is based on a true incident that happened in Mumbai, got him excited about it. This film is not for the faint-hearted and unlike the horror-comedies we’ve seen, it will revolve around a ‘ghost ship’ that washed ashore on the coast a few years ago.”
Disclosing some more detail about this ghost ship, one of our sources has said “Besides the fact that there were no crew members on board the unnamed ship, the spooky part is that it went completely undetected when it entered Indian waters and officials were only alarmed when it ran aground off the coast.”
During a chat Vicky Kaushal has revealed that he is not an admirer of horror genre. He has said “Main bohot darta hoon. I think Bhoot meri pehli horror film hogi jo main dekhunga, kyunki maine khud hi acting ki hai aur mujhe pata hai kya hone wala hai (laughs). (I get scared a lot. I believe Bhoot will be my first horror film that I will watch, because I’ve acted in it myself and I know what is going to happen)”
Release of Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship is scheduled on 21st February, 2020.
