For the first time, Sonam Kapoor will be seen with Dulquer Salmaan onscreen in their upcoming movie The Zoya Factor.  Bestselling novel of Anuja Chauhan’s The Zoya Factor is used as the base of this movie. Zoya Singh Solanki is a Rajput girl who has met the Indian Cricket team due to her job as an ad executive. Later on, she has been considered as the lucky charm of the cricket team during World Cup. In due course, Zoya starts to fall in love with the Indian cricket team Nikhil Khoda aka Dulquer Salmaan. However, Nikhil does not believe in things like lucky charm or any kind of superstitions.

Following to a lot of anticipation, trailer of The Zoya Factor has released at last. In the video, we can see that Zoya is born on the day when India has won the Cricket World Cup first timr in 1983. So, her father declares Zoya as a lucky mascot for cricket. However, both personal and professional life of Zoya is miserable.  She is not too fond of Cricket also. It seems that the team wins a game when Zoya and Nikhil spend time with each other. Both the love story and lucky charm aspect of the story have been highlighted perfectly in the trailer.

Director of the movie is Abhishek Sharma and it has been produced by Pooja Shetty Deora. Release of the movie is expected to happen on 20th September, 2019. Previously, the movie is set to release on 19th June, 2019. However, it has been delayed due ICC World Cup. Some fun posters from the movie have released already.
