Since we have heard that talented director Megna Gulzar and Alia Bhatt is coming together for a movie with Masan actor Vicky Kaushal as company, it has become a wait with an accelerated breath for the trailer. Through the trailer, we have certainly obtained an idea about the movie. Therefore, excitement around the movie has increased thousand fold without any reason.
For a long time, lots of pictures from the shooting locations as well as posters have been floating around the internet. So, makers have certainly teased us for a really long time. Now, the trailer of Raazi has dropped at last and we are mesmerized by looking at it. The trailer is worth the wait as it has all the elements to become an excellent movie. Movie choices of Alia have been always good. The character of Alia has a great arc as she plays a daughter, wife and spy. In each role, Alia has been looking gorgeous. There is no doubt in the fact that director Megna has tried to get the best performance from her.
In Megna Gulzar’s Raazi, you may able to see Alia Bhatt’s real life mother Soni Razdaan as reel life mother. It is first time that mother-daughter pair have worked together in a movie. Here, Alia Bhatt is a spy who has been married to a Pakistani Military personnel played by Vicky Kaushal. Regarding the role, Alia has told the media, “For me, the best part is that this character is not a Lara Croft. She’s a young, naive girl, who decides to risk her life for her country.” So, it has been a tough role for her.
Trailer is looking authentic as director Meghna Gulzar has given importance to the details for recreation of 1970’s era in both India and Pakistan. About the look of the movie, Alia has said “It was something Meghna believed that I should do authentically, and I feel that it helped me get perfectly into the character. One could have argued that kisi ko kya pata chalega, but we had to be as authentic as possible.”
