Director Nitesh Tiwari along with the others have decided to reveal glimpses of their upcoming movie Chhichhore starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in the form of trailer on Friendship’s Day which falls on 4th August this year. Through the movie, story of seven friends will be unveiled. The track is expected to follow these friends from the year 1992 to the current time. Dangal fame director Nitesh Tiwari is helming the movie.
Regarding choice of Friendship’s Day as trailer launch, Nitesh Tiwari has said “Chhichhore is a light-hearted tribute to relationships and a large chunk of it revolves around friendship that is unconditional, unapologetic and timeless. I couldn’t have asked for a better day to show a glimpse of this friendship to the world.”
Release of Chhichhore is scheduled on 30th August. On the same day, Shraddha Kapoor’s another movie with Baahubali actor Prabhas named Saaho is going to release also. Reports have suggested that the makers of Chhichhore may delay the movie by a week. In this way, clash may be avoided. However, producer will be taking final call on the subject according to Nitesh. He has said, “They are more experienced than me in this matter to decide what needs to be done. And I completely trust their expertise”
On asked about the release of trailer just a month before, director Nitesh Tiwari has said “With a number of releases lined up in the weeks to come, it makes sense to have a concentrated short burst rather than a scattered long one. More and more producers are migrating toward this approach.”
