Bharat starring Salman Khan is going to release on Eid which falls on 5th June. Fans of Sultan Salman Khan have been waiting for the release of this movie for a really long time. Director Ali Abbas Zafar has helmed the movie Bharat. In this movie, different shades of Salman Khan’s character can be seen since it follows the journey of the actor till the age of 60. Bharat is an official adaptation of South Korean movie Ode to My Father where relationship between a father and son has been explored primarily. According to the director Ali Abbas Zafar, no one could have done the role of Bharat apart from Salman Khan. In the real life also, Salman Khan has a very unique relationship with his father Salim Khan.
During an interview, Salman Khan has said “Everyone shares a beautiful relationship with their parents. So, this film could have been made with anyone and they would have done complete justice to the film because the script is so beautiful. Ab bolne ke liye it can be said that because I share a beautiful relationship with my father, mother, sisters, brothers and friends. I was the only choice but the fact is that had anyone else done it, it would have turned out just this way, maybe better”
On the occasion, Salman Khan has also revealed that Bharat is not scene to scene remake of Ode to My Father. Rather, it can be looked as an adaptation to the original story. Salman has said “We’ve taken the rights of that film, but it’s changed a lot. Their culture is different from ours and when you adapt it, scenes change, moments change, the screenplay changes. But the plot has remained the same.”
