The super Kool actor deserves the applause for breaking the stereotypes by becoming father through surrogacy; in spite of being a single, unmarried man. The star has always been a method actor by appearing repeatedly in sex comedies and failed to make much impression apart from being the son of veteran actor Jeetandra and brother of telly queen Ekta Kapoor. But his decision of becoming a father with the help of surrogacy and raising the child on his own deserves the appreciation.
The 39 years old actor revealed that he became a proud parent on Monday. His son, named Laksshya, looks exactly like him is claimed by the actor. The decision of Tusshar surely demads appreciation, because in a traditional society like ours people need such reminders to inspire others to break the stereotypes. The social norms always emphasize on marriage and then making family, but these heroes show us that to become a good parent we do not always need marriage and family.
The actor also revealed that his decision was much inspired by a conversation with director Prakash Jha; Tusshar said, “I had visited Tirupati temple last year and while I was leaving after the darshan, I met Prakash Jha who was also in my flight. And in our conversation he said that this (IVF) is also a way if you want to have a child, if you want to be a single parent. He introduced me to a family who had followed the IVF and surrogacy procedure. So I felt very inspired and felt I was ready,”
