Just after the release of Jabariya Jodi, Sidharth Malhotra has flown to Kargil in order to shoot for his upcoming movie Shershaah which is a biopic on Captain Vikram Batra. Following to the abolishment of Article 370 in Kashmir, crew of Shershaah has moved there. For this reason, shooting has been delayed for couple of days. Now, it has been reported that Siddharth has met with an accident in Kargil. On Saturday, the incident has taken place during motorbike ride in the hilly terrain of the region. It has been said “After the shoot, Sid and Shiv (Pandit, co-star) had ventured out for a ride when Shiv lost his balance and slipped off his bike. Sid, who was right behind him, had to apply brakes due to which his bike skidded, resulting in hand and leg injuries”
Following to the accident, Sidharth and Shiv have been taken to the army hospital. Even after the accident, Sidharth has shot on Sunday for the movie as the crew members have been waiting for him. It has been a pivotal scene. Therefore, a huge set up is done. However, the Sidharth has been given rest on Monday. On the occasion, Sidharth Malhotra has said that the injury will take some time to heal. Due to scale and schedule of the movie, Sidharth cannot take time to recover before shooting. Regarding shooting in Kargil, Sidharth has said “We have shot in the mountains similar to the ones where the battles were fought. The rocks were extremely sharp, and they can’t be controlled. So, there were safety concerns while we filmed action sequences and the team did everything to ensure we were comfortable.”
Vishnu Varadhan is directing the movie Shershaah. Kiara Advani is playing the female lead in the movie.
