Commenting on #MeToo movement, Saif Ali Khan has not cut short his words at all. Most of his family members are women. According to Omkara actor Saif Ali Khan, no one should treat the women badly. During an interview with a reputed daily, Saif has expressed his thoughts openly on the issue. Saif has said that no one should take advantage of girls that have been trying to get work. On the occasion, Saif has also said how he will react if someone treats his daughter Sara badly. Soon, Saif’s daughter Sara Ali Khan will start a career in Bollywood. She has already signed two movies. One is Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and another one is Rohit Shetty’s Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh.
Saif has said, “If someone asks my daughter to come to see him at Madh Island, I will go with her and punch that man in the face. If she tells me this guy said this to me, he will then be fighting me in the court. I am sorry, but that’s my reaction to it. He wouldn’t dare to it again. Every girl should have that kind of security.”
Recently, director Sajid Khan has been accused of sexual harassment with whom Saif has worked in Humshakals. On this issue, Saif has said “I don’t even want to call them my colleagues. I don’t think of these guys as my colleagues, I would be very shocked and surprised if a friend of mine was named in this. I think it is disgusting, and I have never liked any kind of bullying, and I know this is something that people do. And they can’t do it.” According to Saif, #MeToo movement will make the sexual predator think twice before acting in such manner. He has said, “By this (the #MeToo movement), and changing your mindset, and your attitude I suppose. Fortunately and unfortunately the media, and this is one of the good things about social media, that you shame people into behaving. Now they’ll think ten times before disrespecting somebody.”
