Shraddha Kapoor is a multi-talented Bollywood actress who has also established her singing skill along with acting performances. Hence, when she is chosen for a movie, it is quite natural for the directors to urge her for also singing for that film. This time, once again we are likely to listen to her song in one of her upcoming movie – Haseena.
Haseena is a biopic based on the life of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parker. The director of the film is Apoorva Lakhia where Shraddha Kapoor will play the title role. In fact, Shraddha’s actor brother Siddhant Kapoor will essay the character of Dawood Ibrahim.
Now, the music of Haseena will be composed by Sachin-Jigar who said, “We might make Shraddha sing in Haseena”. They also added, “If there is something that crops up where we feel Shraddha can add value we will rope her in. We don’t know yet if there is a requirement but of course given an opportunity, we will make sure that she sings and that too in a brand new”.
The music director pair admitted that the film is a challenge for them as they have never done anything like this before. In fact, they have taken to challenge to set a parameter for themselves so that they would even succeed in delivering the music of a film over of their comfort zone. And in this way, they would want to break the stereotype concept about their sound trademark ‘Sachin-Jigar’ style.
Haseena will frame the life journey of Haseena from her teenage to her mid-life turning 40-year-old. The music directors Sachin-Jigar admitted that even though the songs of Haseena are predictable enough in the genre of music, those are not typically commercial type. They are experimenting to bring out their inner gangster or demon to speak.
Earlier we have seen Shraddha Kapoor many times in the role of playback singer as she has already mesmerized us in ‘Galliyan’ (Ek Villain), ‘Do Jahaan’ (Haider), ‘Bezubaan Phir Se’ (ABCD 2), ‘Tere Mere Dil’ and ‘Rock On Revisited’ (Rock On 2).
