Yet again another movie falls in trouble with the clearance from defense ministry after the huge debacle with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. Here we have been talking about Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee starrer Aiyaary directed by Neeraj Pandey. It is expected to be an espionage thriller with the military forces in the background. Just a week prior to the release, an issue has arisen with the movie. Due to clashes at the box office, Aiyaary has already changed its release date once. Now, further delay may be seen as a result of trouble with CBFC and Defense Ministry.
Earlier, Padmaavat has also shifted dates as a result of delayed clearance from the CBFC. In the beginning, Aiyaary is supposed to release on Republic week alongside PadMan. However, they have decided to alter the dates as the Padmaavat has been releasing at the same time. By a source, it has been said “Since Aiyaary is set against the army backdrop, the Ministry of Defence wants to review the film.”
In the movie, corruption within the system is expected to be showcased. Couple of military officer with the strong mind is the main character of the movie. However, their approach and views on subject is pretty different from each other. Both of them may be right from their own stand point. Between Sidharth and Monoj, bond of protege and mentor may be shared. So, it is important to know now what the defense ministry thinks about the movie.
There is no doubt in the fact that team Aiyaary is in a huge amount of distress at the moment as they cannot obtain the CBFC certificate on time. In addition to Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth, Naseeruddin Shah, Anupan Kher, Pooja Chopra and Rakul Preet Singh can be seen in the movie.
With the latest turn of events, team Aiyaary is in distress as the failure of garnering a censor certification has resulted in the film’s overseas release in question. Apart from Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra as the mentor and protege, Aiyaary also stars Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Rakul Preet Singh, Pooja Chopra in pivotal roles.
