Rustic North India is going to be used as the backdrop of the thriller Love Hostel. Energetic and enthusiastic young couple’s journey is going to be highlighted as they are haunted by some ruthless mercenary. Fighting with the entire world, star crossed lovers are looking for a dream like ending. However, it becomes a tale of survival through use of money, power and principles and it also includes bloodshed and mayhem. Shankar Raman is going to helm the project. In fact, he has written the script of Love Hostel as well. Previously, Shankar Raman has worked as a cinematographer on critically acclaimed movie Gurgaon.
Once again Drishyam Films and Red Chillies Entertainment have been collaborating on a project. Previously, both of them have worked on the movie Kaamyaab together. It is also going second project of Red Chillies Entertainment with Bobby Deol after Class of ’83. Sanya Malhotra and Vikrant Maseey are going to work with the production house for the first time.
Regarding the project, director Shankar has said “I have always been interested in questions of the hearts and minds. And I would say this, no matter what the question, violence is not the answer. I am happy to have found the perfect partners in Vikrant and Sanya and the formidable Bobby Deol. Love Hostel as a film not only questions what our society has become but also the paths we take to solve our problems.”
Gauri Khan, Gaurav Verma and Manish Mundra will be producing Love Hostel. Red Chillies Entertainment is presenting the movie while Drishyam Films have worked on the production. Shooting of the movie is expected to start early next year. Release of the movie may happen on later half of the year.
