Post COVID-19, Akshay Kumar is going to be the first superstar who is resuming movie shoots in Bollywood. For the shooting of his upcoming movie Bell Bottom, Akshay is going to fly to London along with the team of Bell Bottom. In this movie, Vaani Kapoor has been paired with Akshay Kumar. It is the first time when both of them will be seen together onscreen. According to the recent report, Lara Dutta is playing the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the movie. One of our sources has reported, “The film is set in the ’80s with Akshay playing a special agent who helps solve one of the biggest conspiracies that shook the country. But there are three leading ladies in the film. Vaani Kapoor plays Akshay’s wife and romantic interest in the film, whereas there’s a special character that Lara Dutta will be seen essaying. Lara will play the role of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and has an extremely pivotal part to play in the entire narrative. The film is set in the times when Indira led the country and the makers wanted a good performer to step in for the role and they thought of Lara.”
Later on, it has been added by our source, “They needed a different set up to shoot the film and the producers have taken proper permission from the UK Government for shoot. The entire cast, including Vaani Kapoor, Huma Qureshi and Lara Dutta along with Akshay, Jackky Bhagnani (the producer) and Ranjit Tiwari (director) are expected to fly sometime in the next few weeks.”
Script of the movie has been written by Aseem Arora and Pervez Shaikhand which is based on a true event. It is expected to be an espionage thriller. In this content driven movie, Akshay Kumar is expected to be seen in a new avatar.
