Soon, Karthik Aaryan is going to be a part of a Ram Madhvani directed thriller movie named Dhamaka. Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP and Ram Madhvani Films with co-producer Amita Madhvani are on the board to produce the movie. Through the movie, the world of news channels is going to be focused. For the fans of Karthik Aaryan, it is certainly a welcome change as the actor has never been seen in such a character. Through this new movie, some changes may be observed in Karthik’s portrayal of character as well.
Excited Karthik Aaryan is pretty happy to become a part of a thriller. In this movie, Karthik Aryan will be seen as a journalist who broadcasts terror attacks in Mumbai live. Talking about the movie, Karthik has said “This for me is a miracle script and had me on the edge of my seat all through the narration. I knew this is the script that would give me the opportunity to explore a different side of me as an actor”
Later on, Karthik has also added “This is also the first time I am collaborating with Ronnie and RSVP and I am looking forward to this journey.”
On several occasion, director Ram Madhvani has said “Though, this one is a thriller on the outset, there lies a lot of emotion and drama in the screenplay that leads to the adrenaline rush. This film demanded a young actor with a certain amount of rawness in the space. Kartik, being one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, fits the bill.” It is said that Ram is more passionate about human stories.
Concluding his statement, Madhvani has also talked on how they are going to shoot the movie in the midst of pandemic. He has said “But I have a terrific backing from my producer, Ronnie Screwvala, and our Production teams at RSVP and RMF, are all well-versed with the Covid protocols. As a director/ producer I will be abiding by the rules laid down by the government and am eager to get back to filming.”
From the month of December, shooting of the movie is going to start. Shooting will be done in a unique fashion. Both the cast and crew will be staying under a bio-bubble.
Producer Ronnie Screwvala has said “I am thrilled to collaborate with Ram and Kartik and nothing better than this particular subject for us to come together for the first time. When Ram came to me with the script, I knew that I couldn’t miss out on this one, and we got a similar reaction while narrating the script to Kartik as well.”
