Recently, International Indian Film Academy has been organized in Mumbai. It is the first time when the award ceremony has taken place within India. Bollywood celebrities have descended on the red carpet with lots of glitz and glamour. In order to watch the full show, we may have to wait for some time. On the occasion, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Preity Zinta, Shahid Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ishaan Khatter and several others have graced the event.
During the event, Alia Bhatt has received the Best Actress award for the Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi and Ranveer Singh has bagged the Best Actor award for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. Vicky Kaushal and Aditi Rao Hydari have been given the Supporting Actor and Supporting Actress respectively for their movie Sanju and Padmaavat. Most number of nominations has been obtained by Ayushmann Khurrana’s Andhadun. Following to Andhadhun, names of Raazi and Padmaavat can be seen on the nomination list.
Raazi has become Best Film and Best Director award has been given to Sriram Raghavan for Andhadhun. As debut in Bollywood, award is obtained by Ishaan Khatter for Dhadak and Sara Ali Khan for Kedarnath.
Surprising all, Best Music Director award is bagged by Sonu Ke Tittu Ki Sweety team and Amitabh Bhatyacharya has got the Best Lyrics award for Dhadak. Best Singers award goes to Harshdeep Kaur and Vibha Saraf for Dilbaro and Arijit Singh for Ae Watan in Raazi.
