In India, Pankaj Tripathi is one of the most highly praised actors today. Recently, he has been seen as a guest in Neha Dhupia’s talk show called No Filter Neha. On the occasion, he has been asked about his highest paying project.
Replying to this question, Pankaj Tripathi has said that his remuneration has been on the rise right now. Pankaj has told Neha, “This is a most difficult question. Currently, I feel like the set I’m working on now, that one… and the last film that I shot for, that paid me a lot. With each film that I do, I keep breaking the record of the last film in terms of money.”
Soon, Pankaj Tripathi is expected to be seen in Anurag Basu directed anthology movie Ludo that is going to premiere on Netflix soon. Recently, he has also reprised the character Kaleen Bhaiya for the web series Mirzapur 2 on Amazon Prime Video.
Right now, Pankaj Tripathi is busy with the shoots of Kaagaz and Mumbai Saga. In fact, he is also part of Ranveer Singh starrer sports drama ’83. Release of the movie has been postponed due to coronavirus pandemic. It is certainly one of the most awaited movies.
Remembering about India’s first World Cup win in Cricket, Pankaj Tripathi has said “I must have been around eight or nine at the time but I did read about the win in the papers. It’s an inspiring story and I leaped at the opportunity to be a part of the film”
On his early experiment as an actor in village, Pankaj Tripathi has revealed that he used to play the female parts during his school days. He has also performed on item numbers. From an elderly man in the village, he has received an advice of going to Mumbai. The elderly man has said to Pankaj, “If this boy goes to Mumbai, he will oust several top Bollywood actresses.”
