For those film lovers who have reminiscence their childhood days through the remake of the Jungle Book’, this 3-D animated adventurous film is running successfully not only in India, but in other countries. The Hollywood filmmaker Jon Favreau’s film has already collected Rs 100 crore only in two weeks!
The film has been released in this country in four different languages including Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu. Based on Rudyard Kipling’s great classic published in 1894 and later on following the cartoon show used the broadcast in the National Television with the same name, The Jungle Book presents the story right from the Indian enchanting forests.
It is reported that it is the highest collection in one week for any Hollywood movie till now.
Performing the role of Mowgli, the Indian-American child actor Neel Sethi has received high applauds from the audience since its release in India on 8th April, one week ahead of the release in America.
Apart from Neel, the other actors who supported the film are Ben Kingsley, Bill Murray, Christopher Walken, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o and Scarlett Johansson.
In its Hindi version, the Bollywood actors Irrfan Khan, Nana Patekar, Priyanka Chopra, Om Puri and Shefali Shah have shared their voice for The Jungle Book.
Moreover, the movie has created a whisk in North America by making the biggest box office move in April collecting $103.6 million only in its first week.
We have to admit that Mowgli has mesmerized not only the jungle but throughout the world, irrespective of ages.
