Recently, PETA India organized a poll in their websites where the visitors cast their votes to decide who the hottest or most alluring celebs in India are. Of course, when it is PETA, the poll has to be based on vegetarian celebrity. A lot of celebrities from B-town were in the competition to become PETA India’s Hottest Vegetarian Celebrities. Finally, Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor beat those strong contenders including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Vidyut Jammwal, R Madhavan, Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut and Sunny Leone and they have been crowned as the hottest vegetarian celebs based on the visitors’ poll decided on PETAIndia.com.
Both these celebs have been following plant-based diet plans. The several award winner actress Sonam Kapoor told the Deccan Chronicle that she stopped eating meat four-five years ago. Since Sonam is lacto-sensitive, she has also stopped taking milk and milk products.
The Udta Punjab actor said, “I love chicks, pigs, cows, fish, and all the other animals, too. That’s why I turned vegetarian. I am very happy being a vegetarian and I believe that it is the best way to be”.
Sachin Bangera, the associate director of celebrity and public relations and spokesperson of PETA revealed that both Sonam and Shahid are fit, hot and compassionate. Thus they are setting examples for their millions of fans who wish to join the venture against climate change. According to him, “Both of PETA India’s winners prove that there is nothing sexier than compassion towards animals, which they show every time they sit down for a meal”.
