In spite of being a vegetarian, Jab We Met actor has managed to develop a spectacular body. It is great to have such body. From the “Kaminey” days, the actor has begun to show interest in body building. And the actor has been working relentlessly on it from the time. Some snippets of his amazing body, you can see in his latest release Udta Punjab.

Presently, the actor has been gearing up for the movie Padmavati which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has been always known as a tough task master. Following to the release of Udta Punjab, the actor has also finished Rangoon by Vishal Bharadwaj.

The hard working actor has set a tough task for himself. Following to the birth of her daughter, he has been quite busy with the shooting. From early morning to late evening, Shahid has been on the shooting floors. So, he has very less time in the hand for workout in gym. The actor has always kept his professional engagement ahead of his personal assignments. To extract time for workout, the actor has made a gym within the vanity van that is placed on the set every time.

For the perfectly sculpted body, he has been doing some calisthenics and functional training. Both weight training and cardio has been a part of his training at the same time. The Udta Punjab actor keeps minimum one hour for the workout. Through the session, he has obtained a muscular look which he flaunts every now and then in the movies. Protein from animal is never been part of his diet as the actor is strictly vegetarian. To maintain the physique, the actor never cheats which is certainly a plus point.

Reaped and toned body of Shahid may be seen further when his movie Padmavati releases in theatre.
