Yes, director Sanjay Gupta is expected to jump in to his favourite genre once again which is gangster movie. Last, Sanjay Gupta has directed the Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam starrer Kaabil. Now, Sanjay is gearing up for his next. For this movie, Sanjay has managed to get an amazing star cast with the actors like John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi together. For the first time, both the actor can be seen in a movie together.

According to the reports, the story is based in 1980s and 1990s. It is expected to be a fictional story about events that has helped to turn Bombay into Mumbai. Incidents like cotton mill closedown and murder of businessman may be explored within the movie also in addition to the relationship between cops, politicians, business houses and gangster.

Following to some classic gangster movies like Kaante, Zinda and Shootout at Lokhandwala, Sanjay is trying to make a movie that revolves around evolution of Mumbai. In addition to above mention incidents, importance may be given to influx of high rises and gang wars too. Khatua Murder which is looked as a turning point for Mumbai may be focused in the movie. Untitled movie by Sanjay Gupta is expected to go on floor from the month of July.

Regarding the movie, Sanjay Gupta has said It’s my 3rd outing with John and I’m super excited to work with Emraan, I have always wanted to work with him and I am back to my base of film making, gangster dramas and all I can say is…Its good to be Home.  Production of the movie will be done by Sanjay Gupta’s White Feather Films in collaboration with T-Series by Bhushan Kumar.
