Yes, you have heard it right. Thappad actress Taapsee Pannu is going to reunite with her Manmarziyaan director Anurag Kasyap soon for a sci-fi horror movie. Title of the movie is Dobaara.
Coming to the social media, both Taapsee and Anurag has announced about the movie with a special video. Posting the video, Taapsee writes “Time. Space. Universe. 2021 will make you question everything. Filming begins soon! @anuragkashyap time to add some lights and colour to your frame again, let’s do it #DOBAARAA.”
On the other hand, Anurag has written “See what happens when you travel time across the dimensions of the universe. Filming begins soon! #Dobaaraa.”
Special video shows that Taapsee has arrived in her house and she is reading scripts to pick her next. Now, she hears that there is a curious storm around the city. It is coming back to the city on the same date and same time after several years. On the occasion, she asks Alexa to put on an interesting yet different movie. However, Anurag appears onscreen.
While playing pool inside the television screen, he tells Taapsee that he wants to offer her something. Enhancing our interest, he reveals the title of the movie with a clue. In the end, we get to know that the movie title is Dobaara which can be written as 2:12 also. Title of the movie is definitely important here.
Regarding the movie, Anurag Kasyap has also said “Our vision with Dobaaraa is to bring a fresh, new story to the audience and I am very excited for it. This will be my third collaboration with Taapsee and this time the attempt is to bring an interesting new take on thrillers.”
On the occasion, Taapsee has added “This is going to be a one-of-its-kind thriller. I have been very lucky with thriller genre in my career so far and I always look forward to pushing the envelope under this genre. This is going to be unique more so because it’s got someone like Anurag directing it and Ekta (Kapoor) backing it. It’s my second collaboration with Anurag after Manmarziyaan and Sunir (Kheterpal) after Badla so I know there are expectations riding on this. Also it’s the first time I am working with a super woman like Ekta so it’s going to be a memorable experience for sure.”
