Chitrangada Singh

You know Munna Michael released in July. We know the film is expected to do moderately well. It is based on dance, and if you appreciate dance, you would know that Tiger dances really well. His legs move faster than him. But that may not be sufficient to drive you to the theatres.

Chitrangada Singh was last seen in a sultry and seductive special appearance in Gabbar Is Back (2015). She had featured in the song Aao Raja, and Honey Singh’s rap almost fell flat on Neha Kakkar’s inviting vocals, that were lip-synced by a crudely sexy, Chitrangada. For many it was enough to propel Chitrangada higher in the ranks of their favourite sex symbols of Bollywood, and you’d expect her to bag more roles after this, but alas, if only one could understand how Bollywood works.

Probably she agreed to do Aao Raja only because she had been out of work since her role in John Abraham led I, Me aur Main, which came out way back in 2014, failed to do good business. But well, seems like the hot AND obviously talented actress is trying hard to spring back into action. If you find yourself seated at a screening of Tiger Shroff’s latest outing Munna Michael, you are in for more than what you asked for. For there is a special appearance by Chitrangada in the dance-based film. We won’t spoil the details for you more than this, but this should be an added feature in the movie for you to buy the tickets, in case you are planning to.

It is interesting because the two actors were supposed to be paired together in the upcoming subdued Gangs of Wasseypur-ish film, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. Though the actress had walked out of the project, post filming a few love making scenes, accusing the makers of wanting her to do scenes that she did not sign up for. “He (director Kushan) wanted me to lie on top of Nawaz. Now let me tell you that I was wearing a petticoat for that scene. I turned around to tell Kushan about my predicament,” said a scorned Chitrangada in an interview, after walking out of the film. Seems like fate had other ways to bring together Nawaz and Chitrangada in the same film.
