Following to a long wait, Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hasmi starrer courtroom drama Chehre is going to release on 30th April, 2021. The makers have announced the release date with a new poster from the movie. Prime characters from the movie can be seen in the poster that has been directed by Rumi Jafry. In this movie, some elements of thriller and mystery are expected to be seen also.
In addition to Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi, Siddhamnt Kapoor, Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza and Rhea Chakraborty are expected to be a part of the movie also. However, you may not able to find Rhea Chakraborty in the new poster. Her name is omitted from the cast list also. It seems that the makers have been trying to avoid any extreme reaction on the social media. Intriguing look of Amitabh Bachchan is certainly one of the attractions of the movie without any doubt.
Regarding about Rhea Chakraborty, director Rumi Jafry has said “I am confident she will get through this phase. Everybody around will advise you to be brave, but only the one going through knows how difficult it is. Time is the best healer; with time, she will be fine. She is a talented artiste and will be ready to bounce back”. Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty has revealed the first look from the movie in June, 2019. Rumi has also revealed that the makers are quite interested to release the movie in theatres. Later on, director has added “Anand Pandit (film’s producer) has decided to pursue a theatrical release. We need to support the exhibitors.”
Rumours are also heard that the movie has already secured a deal with a streaming platform. It has been also said that the makers have managed to get a huge sum due to presence of Rhea Chakraborty in the movie.
