If you are an adventure lover and wish to experience true kayaking experience, pls do visit glacial fjord. It stretches out from Deep Cove to the northern most part of the Indian Arm making it a superb 20kms ride into the waters. You can explore wildlife, birds and other species on the way.
2. Car Camping
If you and your kids love camping, then pack your bags and spend a night camping in the car under the stars. There is a lake named, Alice Lake in Squamish which is facilitated with camping facilities for your family.
3. Scuba Diving at Whyte cliff Park:
If you love waters, then you should definitely try Scuba diving in Whyte Cliff Park in West Vancouver. It has an easy beach allocation and is entirely safe for beginners and professionals can enjoy the thrust too. If you are lucky, you can see an octopus too!
If you like hiking, then elevate to great heights covered with snow. Snowshoeing is a great way to extend your vacation – do not forget to give it a try.
5. Backcountry Camping:
Love sceneries? Love the serene atmosphere? Give yourself some relaxation in the backcountry offering some great views of Vancouver. Living between the local mountains away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this camping experience will give you the best solitude experience you wish for.
