In Bollywood, Anushka Sharma is one of the actresses who have never shied away from sharing her opinion about an issue in the public. From the very beginning of her career, she has been pretty vocal about her likes and dislikes. Recently, Anushka has come strongly against the heinous crime in Hathras, UP. Condemning the incident in Hathras and also Behrampur, Anushka has posted powerful message on the social media. Due to these current situations, the nation is shaken up. Posting a strong message, Anushka has talked about gender inequality and stereotypes that exists against the women in India.

Anuska Sharma has said that having a boy child is looked upon differently than a girl child. It happens due to ‘mypoic ’ vision of the society. She has written, “The only ‘privilege’ is that one has the opportunity to raise a boy in a way that he respects a girl.” According to Anushka, It is responsibility of the parents to teach their boys correctly. Gender of the child should not matter and does not make one privileged from the other. It is important to raise your boy well and fulfill your duty as a part of the society. In the presence of a boy, a woman should feel secure instead of other way around.

Right now, Anushka is pregnant with her first child with Virat Kohli. She is expected to deliver in the month of January, 2021. Recently, Anushka has shared some pictures on the social media while flaunting her baby bump. In order to stay right beside her husband Virat Kohli during IPL 2020, she has been residing in Dubai at the moment.
