Akshay Kumar signs Mudassar Aziz’s comedy and adds to the list of his upcoming movies

In Bollywood, Akshay Kumar is considered to be one of the busiest actors. Khiladi Kumar usually works on films back to back. Therefore, he usually has at least three releases in a year at the box office. In spite of pandemic, Akshay Kumar has managed to release his movie Laxmii through OTT platform. It is a horror comedy that has been directed by Raghava Lawrence. In this movie, Kiara Advani has been casted opposite Akshay Kumar. Next, Pad Man actor is expected to be seen in an epic period drama starring debutant Miss World Manushi Chillar. Later on, he is also expected to shot for Anand L. Rai’s upcoming movie Atrangi Re with Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan.

For the next year, schedule of Akshay Kumar is set also. From the month of the January, he is going to work on the movie Bachchan Pandey with Kriti Sanon. Completing the movie by March, Akshay will move to an action comedy by Anand L. Rai called Raksha Bandhan. Now, we have come to know that Akshay has signed yet another project and it is going to be director Mudassar Aziz’s quirky comedy. The movie may go on the floor from the month of July.

Both Akshay Kumar and Mudassar Azis are going to collaborate for the first time in this movie. According to a source, “Akshay has come on board for Mudassar Aziz’s next, a whacky comedy. He said “yes” as soon as he heard the subject. He is trying to consciously strike a balance between real-life subjects, action thrillers, love stories with a difference, and laughter riots.”

Later on, our source has also added “He has almost 10 films in his kitty and there’s talk of a show towards the end of 2021 too.” Recently, Akshay has also wrapped up the shoot of Bell Bottom with Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi. Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar starrer Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi is ready for release also. Makers have been looking for a perfect date to release the movie in theatres.
