In the midst of lockdown, Akshay Kumar has shot a video and he has been the first person to do so. On the occasion, they have shot for an advertisement for the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitization. The project has been headed by Pad Man fame director R. Balki. For the shoots, all the necessary precautions have been taken. Talking about the project, R Balki has said “This is an ad for the health ministry about our post lockdown responsibilities. We need to get back to work but ensure our safety and those of others. So, at our shoot, we did the same.”
Later on, Balki has also added “With social distancing, sanitised outdoor set, disinfectant screen, masks and more, we got used to the shooting with precautions in a few minutes. Despite minimal crew and very strict protocols, we found we can do it quite easily.”
Producer of the TVC has told the media, “Akshay came in dressed. He drove himself. His makeup was done at home. There were 20 people in total. We had a disinfectant tunnel, everyone wore a mask, there was a doctor on set to check temperatures, there was enough social distancing between people, everything was being sanitised every now and then.”
Regarding shoots for the movie in future, Naidu has said “We will have to train every department to work in these conditions and this is the future and will have to work towards it. The limited crew is the future. There was nothing more than what was required. We were very precise about what was needed for the shoot. Even the entourage was the bare minimum, and not to be seen hanging around on the set at all.”
Next, Akshay Kumar is expected to be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi which is previously scheduled to release on March 24th.
