Raazi Ae Watan

First song of the movie Raazi has released. There is no doubt in the fact that Raazi is an interesting story and people are quite eager to know the story of Sehmat. Trailer of the movie has been launched last week. The song ‘Ae Watan’ has been unveiled couple of days backs and it can surely give you goosebumps. Feeling of patriotism may be evoked through the soulful melody of the song. The track has been sung by Arijit Singh which has certainly added some charm.  Lyrics of the song have been written by legendary Gulzar. By simply placing the headphones on your ears, you can enjoy magic of this track.

Talvar fame Meghna Gulzar has worn the director’s hat for the movie Raazi which is all set to release on 11th May, 2018. In this movie, you may get to see Vicky Kaushal, Rajit Kapur, Jaideep Ahlawat, Shishir Sharma and Alia Bhatt. There is a surprise for all the viewers in the movie as mother-daughter duo Soni Razdan and Alia Bhatt can be seen together onscreen for the first time.

In this movie, Alia will be seen as Sehmat who is a spy and married off to a military officer in Pakistan. Regarding her role in Raazi, Alia has told everyone that it has been really hard to portray this character. She has said, She’s a young, naive girl, who decides to risk her life for her country. This was the most beautiful aspect, because I didn’t have to enact anything. Being brave doesn’t mean that you don’t get scared. The sequences were overwhelming, but I wasn’t afraid of holding on and going all the way. A lot of technical preparation went into playing Sehmat. I had to improve my Urdu and then unlearn what I had picked up, because I play a Kashmiri and I wasn’t required to speak chaste Urdu or Hindi

Here is the song for you. Hear it and tell us whether you like it or not.
