Mango Shrikhand (Aamrakhand)

Shrikhand is a creamy, flavourful and delicious dessert loved by everyone. Enjoy a delightful mango shrikhand to make the most of the mango season.

1. Take some hung curd (yoghurt which has been completely drained off by straining in a muslin / cotton cloth for 2-3 hours).

2. Puree some mangoes and add them to the hung curd. You can put this mixture in the blender and blend well. Alternately you could whisk the yoghurt and puree till blended.

3. Add some sugar to this mix. Garnish them with powdered cardamoms and saffron and serve them in dessert bowls.
